Timeline of my year…

• January 1:     New Years in Bulgaria.  Smashed my phone at 2am.
• January:  Backpacked through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Poland
• February:  Backpacked through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia with Alicia.  And Ukraine by myself
• March:   Travel in Georgia with Kristina.  Backpack Czech, Hungary, and fly to Israel with Graceie  
• April:   Backpack Israel and down to Egypt
• May:   Finish up by myself in Egypt and fly to Thailand for 2 weeks and on to New Zealand.  Arrive home!
• June:     Home at Gorge River!  With Hayden, Lochie and Tamsin
• July:       Fly to Tonga with Graceie
• August:    Living on a deserted island in Tonga
• September:        Offered a job with Antarctica New Zealand and fly to Antarctica on the 22nd.
• September to New Years Eve:   Working as a Field Trainer at Scott Base in Antarctica!

What Is In Store For Me In 2018

So far I have finished working in Antarctica, hiked for 10 days around Stewart Island, spent some time at home at Gorge River and then set off on a 4 month overseas trip with girlfriend Sarah.

We sailed to Australia through some horible seas, roadtripped around southern Australia for a month.  Then we flew to Thailand and spent a 3 weeks there.  Visited Koh Chang Island and played with monkeys!

Next came one month in Vietnam where we met local people in Sapa and visited some huge caves.  (All these links go to videos I have made of these adventures.)

After that came India for 3 weeks where we almost got scammed one hour after arriving and took a train, a bus and rode a camels! 

That’s my rough plan but hey!  If something better comes along my plans will change!

And we will see what the rest of the year brings….
